Note not only the separation from Bush, but also the suggestion that Obama is still an unknown to many Americans. This theme -- McCain as known commodity, Obama as an uncertainty -- will be central to GOP success.

thats a losing strategy for mccain. one of his biggest problems is that hes an unknown. he has flip-flopped on EVERY major issue. this shit is done. obama is gonna destroy him, effortlessly.

4. Judging from the way McCain's run his campaign so far,
I'm not worried. It's like he's running around with a "Kick Me" sign on his back.

5. Sure, Republicans, go with that.
After all, making him a known quantity and a Republican means that he must be like Dubya, right? Not to mention all those gazillion flip-flops.

6. mccain as "known oddity"
i mean, look at that misshapen noggin. he should be in a freak show.

ladies and gentlemen, step right up, see the 150 year old man with the deformed head and the bad nazi combover. yes, that's right, get a look at the evil that used to run the world. he's on display for your enjoyment, but be warned, you won't leave this place the same after viewing the pure evil. step right up, just 50 cents.

9. Great strategy continue the status quo with a hot head McSame..
more deaths in Iraq, higher gas prices, higher food prices, more tax cuts for the rich, no health care, no extended benefits for veterans, more war. yup sounds like its a choice.
