Wow. It literally took every last primary election in order to officially select our nominee. |
|
Now that's a PROCESS! Kudos to seeing it through! :applause:

I'm so sorry I never responded to your note.
I had a long day - a couple of spa treatments followed by a fondue dinner, compliments of Mr. Writer. :P
Then we came home and played D&D. I'm not kidding. :P

6. That shows how close it really was! |
|
Despite the hair pulling and poo throwing around here, it was damn close!
If it hadn't been so close, it wouldn't have gotten so heated around here because one or the other would have been out of the running a very long time ago.
I'm sure many nay-sayers will say that it wasn't close, that Obama had the lion's share... bullpucky... he couldn't nail it down, could he? Because it was close... fine as a frog hair split eight ways!
I think it was all good.

The caucus states are too hard to put into the equation. But she had enough delegates to keep him from getting the required amount all this time. So no matter how you want to slice it, it was close!

24. What was the actual % difference in the popular vote. |

Immaterial.
Had the campaign hinged on the popular vote, Obama would have campaigned completely differently, and would have a significant lead there, too.
He won by the metric that counted.

That's all. I'm not trying to argue a point here. Lay off.

So many who had no role in previous primaries had big roles in this race. Hooray for the Democratic party!

in my own state, let alone South Dakota and Montana (and Puerto Rico and Guam). What an astounding process this has been! One for the history books.
