2. I might make some folks mad here but I believe in November we'll be calling
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 06:42 PM by sweetladybug
McCain, President elect McCain. I WILL vote for Obama in November (or any Democrat over a Republican). I'm a white women. I live in the south (TN). Let me assure you that there are a lot of white racist in our country. I have heard white people say that they will not vote for Obama because he is black (only they used the "N" word) I think Obama would be better off being Vice President before becoming President. Personally I hope we have a broken convention and Al Gore is the nominee for President with Obama as his running mate as Vice President.

3. The term is "brokered" convention.
But "broken" works too, to be honest. It's more poetic.

4. Oh come on now
I am a white southern Hillary supporter. I am not real happy about the outcome of the primary but I accept it. Everybody just needs to calm down and realize that McCain is the bad guy.

7. littlebit, if you live in the south, you must hear white racist say the same things that I hear
I hear "I just won't vote before I vote for a "N". and I'll vote for McCain before I vote for a "N". I am a Hillary supporter also and I have no problem voting for Obama or any Democrat. I'm just looking at the facts and how racist people can be and I don't believe Obama will win in November.

8. I live in the south and haven't heard that at all...
actually, it's more of the politically correct reasons why some won't vote for Obama...which is the same as why Ford didn't win here. Race, IMO. They just won't say it aloud.

9. Then Drop those Fucking RACISTS
Into the FUCKING Ocean!

Those PEOPLE ARE NOT AMERICANS AND THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE A FUCKING VOTE!!

I am a working class white male - and I AM FUCKING PROUD PROUD PROUD of this country.

and yes - your comment did make me mad. Just like the racists slugs you are talking about.

And hoping for a "brokered" (and yes it would be "broken" as well) - convention,
so that GORE could STEAL this from Obama...

is frankly despicable - and deplorable - and FUNDAMENTALLY UN-AMERICAN!

11. OMG! I don't believe this.
Even now, with Obama clinching the nom you just won't give it up. He won.
There will be no brokered convention. Get it through your head that we need to get behind Obama and do everything we need to do to get him to the WH.

12. You know what's funny?
So, if someone has neighbors who are so brazenly bigoted as to call the nominee an ugly slur, the n-word no less...

And that person allows the racism to go unchallenged...

Then we have MUCH bigger problems than McCain.
