I can't remember her name because I've only talked to her briefly a couple of times, but she often sings on St. Ann Street between Jackson Square and Royal St.

When I see her again, I'll tell her about her YouTube fan club. I'm sure she'd be thrilled... I might have to explain the Internets to her. :D

19. P.S. A couple weekends ago I went to Tulane's commencement

and the Ragin Cajun and Mary Matlin gave the address. It was open to the public and great. They didn't talk politics at all - just
about how much they love NOLA. She said that James always wanted her to move and she wouldn't because she would miss her friends. then they came down for a weekend and had such a great time - she decided that she would just make new friends - and had bought a house by noon the same day ! They officially moved a couple weeks ago. I have always hated her - but you can tell - he just adores her.

The best part though was that it was the first class who had been here for a year before Katrina and decided to come back. They asked for those who have volunteered to stand and ever single one of them - 2200 stood !
