Oh shit...Joey Scarborough's back and
the whole tenor of the program has changed back to what it was...where's that remote?

He's just so demeaning and creepy...smarmy and angry.

Disgusting person...

3. We have to start a writing club, and start writing to these shows.....
Letting them know that they are sickening and transparent.

We have to start soon....like now.

They don't want him to get a bounce.

They are gonna have to let go of Pat Buchanan. There is no way that we can have him there, an admitted racist, through the General Election...day in, day out.

I was waiting for the GDP to evaporate, so that we could organize something....cause we certainly need to. We can make a difference.

4. True, damn Joe talks like a parrot ... "Elitist!" "He's an ELITISTS" "SQUAWK"
Yes, I'll write MSNBC today. Rachel Maddow should take over the morning show. As intelligent as Mika is, I fear her older brothers let her be "Princess" and I can't stand seemingly mindless giggling and constant deferment to the men on the panel.

Scratch them all and replace them with Rachel Maddow and Liz Winstead - Like the good ole - bad ole days at AAR?

8. Don't you hate that 'elitist' crap?
And EVEN WORSE!!!!!!!!!!!, the aftermath when they play that segment of "Great moments in Presidential speeches" and they all groan and complain about how unfair it is that Bush is portrayed as an illiterate moran. I wonder who is the driving force behind the televising of that segment daily, since Joey can't stand it. Who's the puppeteer here?

30. I had to laugh at Patty-Pat Pat last night.
He kept insisting that HRC either hadn't lost, but if she had, then she should be on the ticket as VP.

The Republicans simply cannot stand that they're not going to be able to run against her.

A local Republican talk show host here, for example, said he would run around the parking lot of the radio station in his boxer shorts if HRC didn't win. He really thought she had it in the bag and he's so very upset that McSame is going to have to run against someone whom the worst thing they can find is that some preacher somewhere said something that may or may not be anti-American.

Buchanan has completely (again) showed who he is with his new book - that makes the point that because Hitler was impressed with the British and thought they were part of the super race WWII was unnecessary. He was unhappy that it led to the breakup of the British empire.

37. I agree, Pat has to go. He has no business commenting on
issues that he is so clearly biased against. He needs to be put out to pasture.

As far as writing, we have to stay one step ahead of them. It's going to get nasty with them since they are so scared of an Obama Presidency. I think we need to organize something too.

I'd rather look at Rachel Maddow and Eugene Robinson first thing in the morning.

John Hardwood wouldn't upset me much.

I like Willie, but he can be off too. If it is a choice between Joe Scarsborough and Tucker Carlson, I'd rather choose TUcker Carlson. At least he is funny and really believes the crap he says.

16. Well actually, that's the only thing that he has said that made sense.....
The fact that Obama is Black is great, but it ain't what's soooo important. If the media keeps talking about how "Historic" it all is, they will have started again painting him as the Black candidate. So "history" is fine, but it will be when he wins the Presidency that they can overplay that a bit. Joe is calling this one correctly. Obama happens to be Black.....it should not define him.

18. I agree with you in YOUR context but
Joey says it because it's CONTRARY. He injects contrariness into all discussions...if you say race matters, it doesn't...if you say it doesn't, then it does. It's a disruptive style which is provocative...provocative of fist fights when it's done to you in real life!

31. Here's a question...
Why, if a person is of mixed race, particularly white and black, are they considered all black?

Not to diminish that side of his heritage, the man was raised by his white mother and grandmother, wasn't he? And wasn't he raised in several countries/cities? Didn't he once say that it took his relationship with Michelle to help him realize what the American "black" experience was?

The reason I ask is because it's consistantly pointed out that he's black - but he's also white, too. He's an American - and like all of us, he's a "mutt" of sorts - a blending and mixing of races, cultures and heritages.

38. Scarborough, Buchanan and Matthews regurgitate a few themes over and over against Obama.
Edited on Wed Jun-04-08 09:36 AM by ShortnFiery
SNL should do a skit on these three.

This AM when Tweety "got down" :eyes: on THE FACT (according to him) that Obama can NOT enter a bar filled with Working Class Whites, belly up to the bar, have a beer and communicate with them. I despise Matthews for that and wonder if it's not a PSYOPS theme plant. He's brought up this SAME topic (he's a specialist with regard Working Class White America) at LEAST a half dozen times in the past. :(

Why is it when I think of this, I reflect to the scene in the flick "48 hours" when Eddy Murphy grabs a shotgun under the White Bar filled with Nazis and COMMUNICATES?

The THREE STOOGES OF MSNBC Cable News: Joe Scarborough, Chris Matthews and Pat Buchanan. :silly:

Edited on Wed Jun-04-08 06:16 AM by EV_Ares
it is as biased as Fox. Buchanon is always giving advice to Barack about what he "must" do to win. Must move further to the right.

Mika is pretty bad as well, comes up with some pretty dumb stuff & tries to parrot or tried to parrot Joe while he was gone.

he is honest. What you see is what you get. He doesn't try to be anything other than conservative and he will tell you he is a conservative right leaner. Can't stand a lot of his ideas but old stealth Joe tries to act just like his commercial, unbiased.

23. Sorry, I like Morning Joe with the whole crew there.
I don't watch shows that basically pander to the way I already think. I much prefer a show
that gives me hosts of different political viewpoints and guest from every side of an issue. If you dislike Morning Joe might I suggest flipping to a channel that will vindicate your political leanings
and report the news or issues with a spin you want to hear.

pretend to be non-bias and then the entire show is slanted to their viewpoint and pandering to the right with Buchanan & Scarborough, both who are conservatives then it is a suck show. Fox makes no bones about who they are but these guys say they are non-biased and they are not, that is the complaint.

Enjoy their show and Fox, your choice but I already know their viewpoint.

27. now Joe and Matthews are back to the "Obama is not a regular person!" meme
Matthews is saying that Obama was poor, and then rich, while there was no in between (!), which people can't relate to. And him and Joe started going off on the Harvard thing, and Mika said "well, do you honestly think that he doesn't understand things like gas prices or people struggling with their bills, Chris? Isn't it a perception problem?" And Chris said "I haven't seen any evidence that he understands it" (!). Mika started to talk about the student loans thing, which Joe and Chris drowned out with "ohhh please, he made millions of dollars last year! " (Chris also got in the "exotic lifestyle" dig about his biography). And Mika said "I just don't think someone should be punished for having gone to a good school", but Chris and Joe shut that down too. The general election has definitely begun.
