I thought about making this a poll, but wanted to keep it serious.

I mean really, he may be forced to pick a male to avoid a stink.

13. I was thinking Biden as well.
Myself? I'd like to see Richardson or Edwards... But I'll take anyone he choses! :)

4. It isn't about Hillary.
And I'd say the odds are he's going to pick either Jim Webb or Wes Clark.

6. Obama's VP choice has (and should have) nothing to do with Hillary.
So no, it wouldn't be an insult if he chose someone else who happened to be a woman.

HAd she been poised and gracious last night, it would have been a hell of an insult.

12. Most have too many comedic answers and not enough good choices.
But it is all in how you make them. I just couldn't keep a straight face for a poll like this.

9. I find it insulting when people act like there is one and only one viable female candidate
The reports that Hillary's camp demanded that the VP NOT be a woman, if true, are just totally outrageous.

11. I'm sure for some people it would be like "What makes HER better than Hillary, huh?"
But then the "duh" factor will set in when the answer is obvious.

16. Serious? What do you think she is, a child or something?
If she *doesn't* break down and die if he picks someone else, you'll make nasty insinuations about that, too.

You people will never be satisfied.

She just couldn't possibly be adult and dignified about it, could she? No, that would ruin your ability to make fun of her.

Stereotypes, anybody?

Did you pick up absolutely no manners as a kid?

18. Honestly, who cares?
Obama should and will choose whoever is going to best compliment him and easily passes the vetting process. Who's "feelings" get hurt is irrelevant.

19. Of COURSE,...NOT!!!! Why's everybody being so,...shallow?

",...he may be to pick a male to avoid a stink."

Ridiculous assertion.

"Politics" means "discussion and decision".

Nowadays, "politics" mean "discussion about distortion". IT IS THE RIGHT-WING, neo-fascist/corporate WAY.

Please, stop FORCING distortion into what CAN BE A NOBLE ENDEAVOR.

Personally, I think opinions based on bullshit should be SEVERELY CHALLENGED, every damn minute!

Don't you?

It should be about picking the best person, male or female.

25. Only to Hillary cultists.
Women who were supporting Hillary because they wanted to lend their support to women in high office generically shouldn't have any problem supporting another woman as VP. It's only those who swore their absolute allegiance to Hillary Clinton that may have a problem with it.
