Will You Idiots Just Shut The Hell Up And Stop Hating On Hillary? She's Dropping Out For F*#%S Sake
She's conceding on Saturday, so stop with all your bitching. It's over. Stop it with the dumbass Hillary bashing threads and start bashing John McCain. It's like you people have a disease or some mental problem that keeps you from thinking about anything except how much you hate Hillary Clinton.

You morons are the reason so many Hillary supporters don't want to vote for Obama. I've heard a lot of Hillary people say they don't actually hate Obama, but they'll never vote for him becasue of what assholes his SUPPORTERS are. So all you people that are yelling about how much Hillary needs to do to unify the party, why don't you do your part and stop making these retarded threads where you just echo each others distaste for Hillary and start using that energy on something beneficial like destroying John McCain. That's what we're SUPPOST to be doing. Not attacking other democrats, attacking THE REPUBLICANS!

I request that from this day forward moderators should close all Hillary bashing threads. It's time for this to end, and it's time for us to begin coming together so we can take on our common enemy.

It's time to bury the hatchet, come together as democrats, and to take on John McCain. The sooner you people stop talking shit about Hillary, the sooner this can happen.

By November, that number will swing bigtime.

I predict that number to swing to 75% by November.

145. What's up with your math? 75% of 18 mil is roughly 13.5 Mil people add that to Obama's 18 mil and
you've got 31.5 million people voting Obama. The other 4.5 mil lost might go McCain but McCain was always finishing third and that's a very very low third next to the democratic nominees. And if McCain keeps on with his gaffe quest, he'll lose people and they might drop or go Obama. Leaving McCain out cold and Obama wins. You're math is way wrong.

18 million Clinton

Kerry 2004 vote: 59 million

23 million Kerry votes out there, not represented in the primaries.
+ 3.5 million new voters in 2008.

+ Independents sick of war and $4 gas.

+ a boring, uninspiring Republican.

the reason? once the fact is known of how few votes hillary will actually carry away she loses any negotiations for VP or cabinet placement

The former first lady told House Democrats during a private conference call Wednesday that she will express support for Barack Obama's candidacy and congratulate him for gathering the necessary delegates to be the party's nominee.

"Senator Clinton will be hosting an event in Washington, D.C., to thank her supporters and express her support for Senator Obama and party unity. This event will be held on Saturday to accommodate more of Senator Clinton's supporters who want to attend," her communications director Howard Wolfson said.

No sweeties. You are what you are all by yourselves. Now go and tell yourselves how perfect Michelle is and how evil that witch Hillary is. Both corporate lawyers. Both married to ambitious men. But one knows her place and one didn't.

I'm sure you'd think wonderful things of Michelle if she ran for Senator from Illinois, and then ran for president. Because, of course, Michelle is a good woman and Hillary is an evil one. Right? Sure.

Her campaign man (McAuliffe) introduced her last night as "the next President of the United States" in a damn BUNKER, 2 floors below street level intentionally chosen because there were no TVs and no wireless (blackberry/wifi) signals.

This was by design to incite the ongoing "Obama hate" because they didn't want her SOUTH DAKOTA victory (!!) speech (where she won 1 delegate in an 8-7 victory) to be overshadowed by something as mundane as the first black candidate winning the nomination.

When she exits stage left, stops with the passive aggressive emotional hostage taking, I will stop responding to it.

Until then, fuck her and the President she rode in on.

Whether or not she's conceding on Friday/Saturday, she has upset a lot of people by her conduct, and we have every right to be mad at her.

Your name-calling was totally unnecessary and rude. If I want to criticize Clinton, i will continue to do so as long as she gives me a reason to do it. I'm not going to "come together" and ignore her when she does stupid things, I will keep calling her out on it.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

don't tell me how i should or should not express my opinions

My criticism of Clinton, and opinions of other Clinton critics, are not going to affect the outcome of this election. Voters are grown-ups, and they will act in the best interest of their lives and the country. Not because a bunch of us are expressing negative opinions about Clinton, who has truly pissed us off and deserves the criticsm.

by all means, keep spouting this garbage, it's your right. but all you're doing is making the sounds of a pompous ass.

60. Why is she waiting until Saturday?
She has lost as of yesterday, why wait?

Sore loser? Or just someone who thought of herself as the frontrunner since November of 2004, and the thought that she has lost is beyond her comprehension?

I'm an 'older' white female, who has never been a Hillary fan. She rode the coattails of her husband, Bill, and has never shown me that she cares about the Democratic Party, only that she is for Hillary.

Not a basher but NEVER a supporter of the Bush, Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Bush, Bush, Clinton dynasty.

She did not come up through the ranks of any political process in which she has proven at the local and state levels what she is all about.

Therefore, since she is unwilling to concede today, or yesterday or even tomorrow (gotta be Saturday apparently) ..... I could give a god damn about her feelings.

I actually felt a little sad for her last night before she gave her speech, I figured she had to feel disappointed--and she has worked very hard. But then when she said "I'm not making any decisions tonight", well that was it..it's really not her decision at this point, she lost.

I'm trying hard to not be negative here, but EVERYTHING is on her terms. I have to say I'll be glad when she's gone.

65. It is this simple
If Hillary supporters care more about the future of the country than their own hurt feelings, they will vote for the Dem regardless. If they put their own wounded pride above the future of the nation and the world, they will either vote for McCain or stay home. It really is that simple; their pride or the good of the country.

And incidently, I've never been more than a lukewarm Obama supporter, came to him late and I've seen way nastier crap coming from Hillary supporters then from Obama supporters. Granted, that's personal observation and flawed because of that but let's not pretend either side has been innocent.

I saw a post early today about how different organizations rated the candidates. Female women's rights, environmentally aware, supportive of our VA system, both Democrats are very comparable. But we do have a presumptive nominee. McShame is a failure in all issues I feel strongly about. Look to the issues, not the personality.

I've been a Democrat since 1972 at the age of 20. There have been times I have not particulary 'liked' our nominee, but in the end, there was no way then or now, that I will vote Repug.

I don't know if Obama would be completley comfortable with her, or if she'd be able to take a back seat to him. I would however like to see her as part of his administration. I like how Obama wants to follow Lincoln and put his rivals in his cabinet. It would be a great move on his part, and she's capable of being a great help to him in white house.

I like Wes Clark or Jim Webb.

As soon as she ACTUALLY drops out, then it won't be a time to not trust her.

As for your indication that "a lot of Hillary people say they don't actually hate Obama, but they'll never vote for him becasue of what assholes his SUPPORTERS are", there certainly is plenty of evidence to go both ways on that.

It does appear that Hillary Clinton is dropping out, but I think a lot of people are just very suspicious whether she actually is or not based on times in the campaign where she was for not attacking others and then does just that the next day.

By Sunday, the hatchets should be buried.

123. she is "suspending", not dropping, as I hear it.....that might be a difference
and reason for you to hold on to hope, yet. But, honestly, we all need to heal....

125. There was a post on Obama's blog last night requesting that we pray to heal Hillary's broken heart
For all the crap I gave her, I might do that...eh, maybe after she finally does concede.

130. They won't do it....they're obsessed with hating
hating Hillary -- even though she's dropped out.

These are the same people who burn down their city when their sports team wins a championship.

In other words, idiots.

she is suspending her campaign.

132. The first pro-Hillary post I've seen where a supporter of hers says, "It's over."
I didn't even see a statement like that after Obama won the delegates needed to win the nomination. Nothing. Nada. I saw a couple of "Denver!" posts and the like.

The posts against Hillary haven't been "hate on Hillary" posts. They have been for the most part, critical of Hillary's BEHAVIOR, which has been unreasonable and divisive for awhile. Criticism of your candidate is not hate.

Psssst....it's been over for awhile, actually. As many people in the country told you. It has been the case for a month or more that there was no way for Hillary to win the delegates needed to get the nomination. The only thing she was able to do this past month was damage Obama and get her numbers up. Which she did. So touche'.

144. a unity rally today in DC would have been much preferred
It's okay she did not concede outright Tuesday night, but her tone was way too defiant.
At the very least, she should have publicly conceded Wednesday and been at unity rally today.
Saturday concession followed by unity rally who knows when is really lame.

146. Idiots, morons, dumbasses... and you want the mods to close the
"bashing threads". Not only that but it took all of one responses before someone shit on Obama.

The word Irony comes to mind.

Here maybe you can get these so called feminists to help you out. They seem to think that electing McCain is a good idea. They seem to believe that McCain will "clean up" the mess we are in and Hillary can take over in 4 years. You sit there talking about Obama supporters bashing and not being democrats, but the view from my seat is quite different.

155. You disgrace your candidate by proving her wrong and her critics right
for well over a month there have been repeated observations that her tactics and continued campaigning was hurting the party. Well the behavior of the "I wont vote for Obama crowd" proves us right and Hillary (and her supporters all of who said we didn't know what we were talking about) dead wrong.
