I can't stop thinking about Caroline Kennedy as VP, I love that idea |
|
So many reasons to not, no foreign policy, but she's got politics in her blood, she's extremely talented, I don't think she wants that type of job... but still... I can't help but think she'd do a fantastic job...
Maybe it's because I'm from Mass. but I just admire her and what she has quietly stood for for years....

Edited on Wed Jun-04-08 09:20 PM by madame defarge
She would never in a million years nominate herself. If she wanted to be in politics, she would have made her entry by now. She is much more powerful -- a king/queen maker -- in the position she's in. Yes, she'd be absolutely fantastic, and I too admire her quiet, calm, dignified approach to making a difference in the world in her own way. She is the epitome of class.

Well, if we're picking fantasy administration members, here's mine:
John Kerry - Attorney General
Now, I know the buzz is all about John Edwards in this position, but that's reality.
In my fantasy world, the AG is John Kerry - the scariest AG the Bush Crime family would ever know. Think about it, the man that cracked the BCCI scandal and Iran/Contra...
too yummy :)

But I really doubt she would do it. If she wanted to hold any elected office she would already be holding it.
I am glad she's helping him look for candidates though. :)

10. no,she has never held public office, maybe a cabinet post or something |

but we haven't seen her as a politician. and personally i don't think she would be comfortable in that role. if she was she would have ran for something already and probably won because of the support she would get for who she is.

|
But ACTIVE in progressive politics .....
I am sure she is afraid to be 'out there', but do not doubt her loyalty to OUR cause: She is an outstanding proponent of Liberal causes ....
Not just a 'nice person', but a person of deep substance and commitment ... to say she is just a celebrity sells her far short of who she truly is ....
Look it up ....
