HRC has brought all this hatred and resentment on herself
Edited on Wed Jun-04-08 10:29 PM by rainbow4321
She has had multiple chances in the last few months to TRY and redeem herself..with Tuesday night being her last chance.

Once she started her speech without endorsing Obama or even acknowledging his win and moved right into "everyone wants to know what Hillary wants" she reached a point of no return. She's not happy with just bottom of the barrel behavior, she's done dug a hole THRU the bottom of the barrel and is inches away from the Earth's core.

And she is GETTING EXACTLY WHAT THE FUCK SHE WANTS! All week long we will have 24/7 news cycles focusing on HER...what DOES she want, WILL she concede...will the concession include an endorsement?

In a week that should be filled with news about Obama and how far this country has come to reach this historical moment...we have HRC and her goons still on the airwaves. The media is eating it up because their ratings depend, apparently, on HRC's every word. So they are getting a few extra days before they hear a very loud "click"..the sound of everyone tuning OUT until the end of October.

Not that they will, but this would be over alot sooner than Friday if her MSM lapdogs started focusing on Obama, his win, and the GE. Total HRC news blackout. Demote her ass to MAYBE having her name across the bottom of the screen news scroll.

Friday and Saturday will come and she will somehow leave this all up in the air again..and we will be left waiting...again...til whatever day she throws out there.

So to people here who are asking how can we all still be so hateful and tired of HRC..SHE has shown by her actions that SHE doesn't seem to care, why should YOU?

6. Evidently, Obama should feel honored that she has allowed him to have the nomination.
Since she got millions of votes shenow feels entitled to have Obama jump through a series of hoops of her choosing and when she says, "Jump!", he had better ask, "How high?"

I heard her speech last night and it was simply unbelievable. "I, ME, MINE" says it all about Hillary. Whatever she may do on Friday could have been much better done last night and it would have given it a touch of class.

8. Edwards took months to endorse. I don't have a problem with her gathering
her thoughts and putting together a strategy. I don't hate or resent her for that. If she had gone to the convention, then I'd have an issue, but she's doing the right thing and I hope that we'll chill a bit on this kind of venom?

She'll be an excellent advocate for our Party and our Nominee.

20. Edwards conceded right away, didn't he?
And there is no venom in the OP. Frustration, maybe. Venom, no.

21. I did say "endorse" vs. conceed. Hillary is doing both this weekend and has announced her intent.
She announced this one day after Obama clinched the nomination. If she was taking this to the convention, then I could understand. But, to blame her because the media is speculating about her as a possible VP candidate (which they've been doing for months) is misguided, IMHO.

I'm not sure what stations you all are watching, but I did see plenty of talk about this "moment in history." Obama is getting lots of great press, which he deserves.

She had a great chance to give a great speech last night - to unify the party and get behind Obama 100%... instead, we got a delusional, putrid rant. Fuck her and her royal entitlements.

But, remember, a lot of heavy hitting Democrats stepped in today to give her a reality check. Maybe it will take.

She's a former first lady, a sitting US senator and one of the most famous women in the world.

If some of you don't like her, who cares?
