The really strange thing about this battle on DU between the supporters of ........ |
|
Hillary and Barack is that we have been having these titanic battles of words, and attacking each others candidates.....
But if you were to compare our beliefs we are all essentially in agreement.
It really seems to me that when we attack and defend we are simply standing up for our friends, Barack and Hillary.

1. Dude, I wouldn't be freinds with someone not big enough to admit when they lost. |
|
And to throw a shit-fit about it, to boot. It's nasty. Hillary needs help and I hope she gets it.

4. Nice sentiment but I believe there were some blatant lies in those battles of words. |
|
I believe that is the difference. She lost me at Bosnia. I will forgive her if she goes away on Friday. My sister is headed to Iraq and I take Hills words personally.

5. Bosnia disturbed me too, but imagine 16 months of non-stop campaigning.... |
|
filled with 18 hour days....most people couldn't keep their sanity.
Hillary has her flaws as we all do, but I believe that she does deeply care about this country.

6. I understand your frustration. |
|
Imagine 15 months in Iraq. Or 12 months and having an unlawful extension of three months. 24/7. You see, we are all here in our busy lives but it is really nothing in comparison. If it helps, Obama was not my first choice but after reading and listening I am willing to fight for a chance at change in Washington. Last chance the way I see it. Hill is really not change to me. Best wishes. By November I hope we will all be on the same page. Peace, Kim

9. I agree with you completely..........I switched from Hillary to Barack in December |
|
my point is that everyone on this board wants to end the war in Iraq and we agree on most other issues as well. We have merely been arguing over who can do it better.

8. I think DUers are essentially in agreement |
|
I don't agree that Hillary's beliefs are really similar to mine at all. I believe she thinks they are and that's why sometimes she sounds like she is for the worker - but anybody who would suggest forcing people to pay 10% of their income for medical insurance doesn't have anything in common with me. And that's where it starts, not where it ends.

entire Congress and will only resemble the ideas of either of them.

12. What's that got to do with her? |
|
I'm talking about her and what comes out of her mouth. I never understood that Congress argument. If you don't agree with someone's policies, don't vote for them.

Just like they think their Hope tax credit helped lots of low income people go to school. Or at least that's what they say. Her "universal" health care isn't going to help people any more than Bill's college tax credit did. Either they're out of touch or they're lying. Either way, like I said, all DUers are essentially in agreement on policies, but what we end up with doesn't match what she says.
And I was all ready to give her a break, until I just read that she's hanging on to her delegates to affect the agenda at the convention. lol. Suuurre, it's all about her concern for health care. :eyes:
