Hillary for VP ---the best choice |
|
Let me preface by saying I liked most of the Dems who ran and would have settled for either Hillary or Barack, unlike many here. I really didn't get all the vitriol on both sides. Anyway, both Clinton and Obama proved themselves worthy adversaries so it is a no-brainer for them to run as a team. Hillary has proven herself as someone who will fight for victory and take s**t from no one. The woman on SNL hit the nail on the head when she compared her to the nuns she had in school. Anyone who has experienced this (like me) will have to admit that although many nuns played hardball, they got the job done. And I think Hillary will too.

7. She is the antithesis of HIS politics, his message of change and transparency in government. |
|
And, for the record, some of the Clintons' behavior in this campaign is unforgivable.
Barack has plenty of fine Democrats to choose from who will actually augment the ticket. He will not be pressured.

Politics is why she won't be on the ticket. Is Obama supposed to betray his base and their |
|
desire for change?
Is turning the page synonymous with going backwards a couple of chapters?
Trampling on Obama's message is a bad idea. Anybody who understands politics knows you don't trample your message and expect to win.
It would be the same if Hill had won. She would be crazy to put someone she believes to be unqualified a heartbeat away from the presidency. It would be political suicide.
No, politics is exactly why they can't be on each others ticket. Obama won and he will pick a VP who doesn't trample his own message.

She will NEVER be Obama's VP because she's not good enough or smart enough, and gosh darn it people hate her guts. She deserves every bit of negativity coming her way. And then some.

4. Um, wait. Your thesis is she's the best choice because of an SNL skit? |
|
I think putting Hill on the ticket would weaken it substantially.
It would completely undermine Obama's message of change, and turning the page.
He won the primary on that, and he can win the general on that as well.
Unless he throws the message under the bus and puts Hill on the ticket.

her massive ego will not permit her to "endorse" Obama on Saturday - only to "suspend" her campaign.
I'm 100% convinced that HRC and her husband are megalomaniacs who no longer deserve to influence USA's Political Policy. They shame America by their OVERT sense of entitlement. Hello? Hill and Bill?!?- in the USA we don't recognize *royalty.*

11. Unfortunately Hillary has taken shit from a lot of people |
|
First of all george bush. She fell for that Iraq shit hook line and sinker and even now refuses to admit the truth even though the entire world knows it. She took a giant portion of shit from bill clinton who has been running all over screwing anything that moves and she doesn't seem to have the spine to do anything about it. She took shit during the campaign from Rupert Murdoch and richard mellan scaife by kissing up to them for a meaningless endorsement after they spent a decade trashing her and her husband.
She lacks the moral character to be trusted with the highest office in the land. Or even to be a heart beat away from it. Sorry.

There is now way she could be the VP while the republicans are running TV ads using her and her comments about Obama everyday! And Bill is not going to make it through the vetting process. No way is he going to tell us who has donated to his library, or who his business partners are. He has way to many secrets, and I am sure that the republicans know all about them since Bush controls all the intelligence agencies. Nope it just won't happen.

33. Here's why she's not the best choice |
|
1) Bill Clinton (where's all that money from exactly? What business deals, what did he do exactly, and is he ready to have all of that pored over by any proper vetting process, let alone the Republican opposition research teams?)
2) Bill Clinton (who's been donating to his Presidential library, how many can be viewed as a quid pro quo for last-minute pardons, what if anything did any of those donors get for their donations?)
3) Hillary Clinton (untrustworthy by a majority of people, Bosnia fairy tale and other lies will be brought up again and again).

34. She should get the same review any other potential VP will get. |
|
And she needs to come clean on EVERYTHING, including the Clinton Library, every speaking engagement and every business deal of Bills. Frankly, vetting Bill would be a full time job. I think they should review his pardons too, and fundraising during that time period.
If she would ok the scrutiny, then she can be in the pool like anyone else.
