Newsmen and Newswomen Democrats CAN'T TRUST |
|
There are some newsmen and newswomen who I believe are disseminating false stories and false information. I seriously think many of them are making up shit as they go along. Democrats need to be AWARE of these people and the possible tomfoolery they may try to perpetrate against the public.
Who is on my list? Who is at the top of my list?
HOWARD FINEMAN
Yeah, I know he SEEMS like he is friendly towards Obama, but there is SOMETHING about him that I just can't put my finger on. I don't trust his reporting.
Craig Crawford
Brian Williams who unfortunately has a high opinion of himself despite being a college dropout who managed somehow to become one of the highest paid newscasters in history.
David Gregory
Andrea Mitchell
Norah O'Donnell
The entire Faux News Slate
The entire ABC slate
So basically, most of NBC, ABC, Faux, analysis and info cannot be trusted.
I'll be watching Chris Matthews and Tim Russert very closely.
CNN to a lesser extent. Keith O is always cool.
Who else makes the cut.

He is the smarmiest, slimiest, sneakiest POS of them all. IMO, of course.

7. Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow are about the only ones on TV I trust. |
|
Tweety has been improving. Chuck Todd knows his numbers, but he sure tried hard to frame this primary as only Obama vs Hillary even when there were 8 active candidates, so I'm not sure how trustworthy he is. Dan Abrams seems to be ok most of the time, particularly when he's pointing out how the whore media gives Grandpa McLoon a free pass.
MSNBC is the only channel I'll watch for political coverage, apart from C-SPAN. I'll put up with Timmy, Buchanan, Whora and the rest, as long as Keith and/or Rachel are on.

8. I like Howard and I think David Gregory has been smoking RW pot or something... |
|
David Gregory just isn't the reporter he used to be. I change the channel when he comes on. Andrea Mitchell doesn't bother me that much. I think she knows that we're undergoing a political revolution with Obama as our nominee. Norah's okay.
Matthews: Sexist asshole that doesn't care for the war.
Russert: He's okay. I can't think of anything he's said or done that has me totally convinced he's a repuke talking head. He has moments where he's let crap slide that he shouldn't have, but I've seen that with more pundits than I can count. He's been tough on repukes at times, too.
Faux news...:puke:
I do like Brian Williams and Kieth Olbermann.
In the end...it's all corporate media. They are about themselves...totally selfish and will stick with what benefits them. That's usually the repukes, but it's still no guarantee. Corporate media will always take care of corporate media.

13. I'm referring to people Democrats especially need to watch because |
|
RW talking heads dressed in sheep's clothing will offer up "analysis" on Democrats and some Democrats will look at this reporting as impartial because of the reporting they did during the primary season. I specifically mention Democrats because everything is already geared in favor of the RW. Any reporting will always benefit them in some way or another. Whether or not it is good for them is another thing. I'm referring to disinformation specifically targeted towards Democrats to create chaos.

19. We can handle disinformation like we did with Kerry's run... |
|
massive email campaigns when a talking head spews out lies. We email them and their network.
We had Tweety apologizing after someone on his show repeated the swift boat jerk talking points.
It can work if we can get as many people as possible willing to do it.

14. Fineman, Crawford, et al (confusion) |
|
They often quote DLC Clinton Democrats when they're quoting anonymous aides, advisers, etc. So you wonder what in the hell they're talking about, until you begin to listen for the DLC - Blue Dog angle.
Fineman usually goes where the power is, which is why you've heard a bit more on Obama. But he'll turn right over and attack him if that's where the money is. Crawford has always been squarely in the Clinton corner, and failing that, the Dem corner. But not over the Clintons, kind of like Dan Abrams except when Abrams gets all anti-liberal.

17. ABC is 100% anti McCain, CNN is close to that. MSNBC is pro John McCain. CBS kisses |
|
Bush FCC ass.
I have explained why before but here is the Cliff Note's version. It all has to do with $$$ and their parent corporations.
ABC/Disney does not like John McCain because he has a history of trying to shove A La Carte Cable down the nation's throat and Disney has better household penetration when it is on a package cable system. Disney is the single biggest lobbyist against A La Carte. ABC broke the Mark Foley story in 2006 to turn Congress over to the Dems. They are already doing negative McCain stories. Trust ABC to look out for our party.
CNN also opposes McCain because of his history of interference with cable. AOL-Time/Warner makes its money from cable. CNN will not be as overt as ABC because CNN is a quality operation, but they have already done many subtle things like actually show John McCain giving speeches rather than having their pundits paraphrase his speeches (which the McCain supporters at MSNBC do) since McCain giving a speech is so pathetic looking. During the Republican primaries they also gave Huckabee major airtime, another sign that they did not favor McCain. They did not trash Clinton, leading some to assume they supported her, but last night they had the highest rated news show of all and it was a nonstop Obama love fest.
General Electric/NBC/MSNBC has all but announced its support for John McCain who is favored by the Pentagon, the number one contractor for GE and who also supporters GE's nuclear industry (they make over $11billion a year selling nukes to other countries and they want to build them in the US starting next year). My journals document the way that they promote McCain. They spend most of their time bad mouthing Clinton rather than promoting Obama--even last night when Obama won. Pat Buchanan, the master of divide and conquer the Democrats politics works there and he has been running the show. The worst people are Tom Brokaw, Tim Russert, David Gregory, Chris Matthews, Pat Buchanan, Nora O'Donnell, Joe Scarbarough . Keith Olbermann is being used to attract Democratic voters to watch the divide and conquer cart and pony show that Pat Buchanan, Nixon's dirty tricks master has written for the others to perform. KO has a limited fund of knowledge about politics as does Rachel Maddow, so they are often oblivious about what the older guys are doing. My journals are full of the stuff these people get up to. I am not sure whether Richard Wolffe really works for Obama or whether he was a mole MSNBC planted in the Obama camp and used to get KO to start acting as an Obama partisan/anti-Hillary partisan on TV in order to divide and conquer Democrats. Wolffe is smart enough to realize that KO's over the top performance as a Hillary Basher was one of the key things that lead to her late turn around in the polls and in the race. The Clintons always do well when they are the victims of a media attack. So keep your eye of Richard Wolffe. Also watch out for Fineman and Andrea Mitchell and Dana Milibank and David Schuster. Eugene Robinson, KO and Rachel Maddow you can trust. But basically, watch MSNBC in order to study propaganda.
I wouldn't watch CBS if someone paid me. They got rid of Dan Rather because the FCC told them do that or divest some of their media holdings. They do whatever the Bush Administration tells them to do.
FOX is FOX.
All Tribune papers are also Fox now that they are owned by Sam Zell and are subject to the same blackmail scam as CBS above (that includes the LA Times). The Washington Post supports McCain. The NYTs probably supports McCain since the Neo Cons have taken over). If you want to read a newspaper, read a McClatchy newspaper.

21. You need to look at the ownership and news bosses of each channel |
|
and newspaper. That speaks volume of how their reporters broadcast, analyze, and interview. Remember they are human and need to work and feed their family. Therefore, they follow orders from owners and their bosses. Media monopoly has created this environment.
BTW Russert has GOP logo tattooed in his brain. He might have been good at one time but nit anymore.
