Gov. Bill Richardson on Hillary last night: "I would want her to go to one step further."
Last night on Larry King Live, Bill Richardson said the following:

KING: Senator Richardson, what do you make of the way Hillary -- Senator Clinton has handled this?

GOV. BILL RICHARDSON: Well, I'm pleased that she made the statement today of suspending her campaign. She ran a remarkable race. She's a major player in the party. But I would want her to go to one step further. And that is to say, one, that she enthusiastically supports Senator Obama, because it's going to be a tough campaign. And, secondly, that it was a fair process.

I think her continuing to talk about how she won the popular vote, that Michigan and Florida were disenfranchised, is not helpful. This is a time for the Democrats to come together. And her magnificent showing, coupled with Senator Obama's openness, his integrity, his ability to bring people together, we're going to have a very, very strong presidential candidate.

1. She HAS to do that.
And she'd damn well better, if she doesn't want to become a pariah to the party. It bothers me that she's been so reluctant to move towards unity--this morning there was a report on the news that she won't do a joint appearance with him any time soon. I hope she changes her mind about that.

7. Exactly!! And even further: STOP PRAISING JOHN MCSAME!!
And even further: telling her women supporters that Obama is NOT sexist and that he has been a trail blazer in the fight for women's rights. In the IL Senate, he voted in favor of a controversial abortion bill that goes futher in protecting a woman's right to choose!

Other issues that Clinton needs to raise:

1. Obama is not a Muslim
2. Obama supports Israel 100%
3. Obama is not responsible for his *former* church or its leaders, their statements/behavior
4. Obama is NOT anti-gay! He bravely stood in black churches all across America condemning homophobia

8. Excellent points on his part
The Clinton effort to position a likely Obama win as debatable has gone on for 4 months. Saying the process was fair and she came close, but lost is important.

9. He's right - she needs to be enthusiastic and to say that the process was fair....
but she doesn't have to say the word concede.

11. Yes, she does
Is there something wrong about a Clinton saying "I concede"? Do they have the same speech impediment as the Bushes that they cannot verbalize that they have done something wrong?

12. There's nothing wrong with it, but many politicians suspend instead of concede. It's standard, too.
