She has issued her letter announcing that she will be throwing her support to Obama and on Saturday she will be formally announcing it. Our main goal here is to unite as Democrats to take the white house and now that we have a unified party I think it's time to move on.

Obama supporters, please REC this thread if you are with me.

18. Me too
I'm into being constructive and not destructive. Not everybody is ready yet for their painful wounds to be healed, but in time most of us will be, I hope.

We are all Democrats, we have an awesome candidate for President and we can change the world if we work together. I hope Obama will give Hillary a great position in his administration because she can do a great job in it. Lets get to work on beating McCain and not each other. Please.

6. Look, her campaign is still issuing demands. How do you think that affects...
...people, many of whom are already tired of her entitlement and limelight-stealing issues.

Few are going to calm down here as long as the mainstream media (MSNBC, CNN, et al.) are still actively reporting inflammatory demands from the Clinton camp.

29. she already has made her intentions clear
from Hillary's letter to supporters

I will be speaking on Saturday about how together we can rally the party behind Senator Obama. The stakes are too high and the task before us too important to do otherwise.

17. Earned skepticism. Too many mixed signals still from her camp.
And I won't bash her campaign after it departs the scene, but I will hold her and her loyalists responsible for her RECORD as it exists, and that of Bill Clinton as well.

History HAS to be maintained by those concerned for the accuracy of our nation's historic record - something Closed Government's protectors would prefer citizens ignore.

21. the irony of why she's not being considered for VP can't be lost on you, blm
Finally the Clintons are being held to accountability by the simple virtue of open government. The Clintons would rather keep secret the Clinton Library donor list than she being considered for VP. A truly karmic end to the saga of secrecy in government. I do hope Democrats are up to the task of cleaning house.

25. Not at all. But, I also knew that she was vetted once before for VP slot in 2004 and failed
Edited on Thu Jun-05-08 01:11 PM by blm
and failed by the same man leading Obama's search, so I knew she'd never be VP selection, especially because of Bill's current finacial scandals - courtesy of the BCCI thugs who he protected throughout the 90s. That Jackson Stephens, Marc Rich, Dubai and Saudi royal money flow doesn't feel so good now that it comes up for scrutiny, doesn't it?

Trust me - BCCI always ends up being at the core of most everything going on today when it comes to Bushes and Clintons. I wish it weren't so - I wish it was ABLE to disappear through a thorough vetting of its own in the public eye when it mattered most to our nation's security - in the 90s.

24. Let's at least give her this weekend for her speech and her supporters
I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next week-I'm holding out hope that she will ask her supporters to work for the Dem nominee so we can win back the WH. Hillary and her supporters have had a big disappointment and they need time to come around. I know I needed time when Howard Dean lost to John Kerry-it really hurt.

26. No, let's tell her to grow the fuck UP and stop being a whiny little kid
She's pathetic. This woman is over 60 years old. She's not newbie. No one should have to explain to her how our party works. We don't change things just because she's got her tail feathers bent out of shape. She's been a spoiled brat her entire life, always expecting to be treated as royalty. It's time for her wake up call. She ain't all that, and she damn sure ain't our nominee. She is addicted to thinking about herself as a presidential candidate. She loves pretending she's president. Going back to being plain old Hillary that no one really stops for is not what she wants to do. She'd love to keep entering buildings to applause.

Time for her to step off.

31. I hope that she will do the right thing this weekend
She really didn't do herself or her political career any favors with her speech the other night. I kind of think any possibility that she had of becoming VP was lost with that speech. But for our party's and our country's sake I'm willing to give another chance this weekend. I hope she thinks of our country and not just herself this time.

All the talk about whether Hillary should be VP, or not, I've decided I'm going to let Barak make his decision. He's made great decisions so far, and which ever way he goes on this, I'm behind him.
