The surest indicator that we are going to win this election-watch for it |

If (or when) the old, creaky, and out-of-it John McCain becomes an open joke to the "we're so cool" boys and girls of the national press corps. He certainly took a giant step in that direction with his widely mocked "green screen" speech the other night.
Remember this is the same shallow group that decided early on that George Bush was the "cool guy" and Al Gore was the stiff and nerdy teacher's pet and kept this theme going throughout the 2000 campaign.
It'll be interesting watching for the mocking tone to start creeping in as McCain stumbles through this campaign with misstep after misstep.

When Bill Clinton was running in 1992, the CEO of Apple endorsed him in the summer. The corporate leaders were endorsing him, so that was a sign he would win.
