It's time to donate to organizations that support PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS!
If you are a progressive, these organizations are the ones to donate to:

Russ Feingold's Progressive Patriots Fund: http://www.progressivepatriotsfund.com/

Progressive Democrats of America: http://pdamerica.org/

4. My perennial favorite is the ACLU....
Their client is really always the Constitution/BOR, no matter who the actual person/plaintiff is.

8. I guess I have a big-picture outlook. Without our civil rights, it doesn't matter...
who we elect to office.

If you care about preserving civil rights, it matters very much who we elect to office.

7. You forgot Progressive Majority
you can find them at http://www.progressivemajority.org/

They are a national organization that also has state orgs associated with it. I know they work closely with candidates from my past experience. In our state, undeterred, they offer candidate and staff trainings. They also vet candidates and make endorsements - which come with contributions and campaign advice.

Because they are a bigger organization, they help more candidates than Progressive Patriots, but I give to both organizations because I know they share the same purpose.
