just as a matter of curiousity, what would all you vocal Sen. Clinton haters do
if obama does choose her as his running mate? over 17 million people around the country don't share your views of her, and probably a lot more voters as well.

just wondering.

Just wondering.

same thing i said when this all started, same thing i will say when it is all over.

on edit:
I realized this question was for "vocal Sen. Clinton haters" so i guess its not directed at me anyways.

3. Suck it up, just like I've sucked it up over every other boneheaded move Democrats have ever made
over the decades. Being a 58 year old lifelong Democrat means that I've had to put up with decades of boneheaded moves and lost opportunities. Foolishly or not, I've remained a steadfast Democrat no matter what, because for me there's no alternative.

So, yeah, I'll suck it up, grumble a lot, but still faithfully vote a straight Democratic ticket.

On the other hand, I think it's highly unlikely that Obama will pick Hillary Clinton as his running mate. My impression is that he may actually be smarter than the average Dem candidate.

But if he does:  -- won't make any difference to me, I'll still be voting Dem in the general election like I've always done.

4. It won't matter. My vote will be meaningless.
I live in NY which will not be closely contested again this year. I'd like all states to apportion their electoral votes rather than stay with the "winner takes all" system. It would make all our votes meaningful and all states contested.

7. It's like being worried about being sucked into another dimension...
I don't let things that are highly unlikely to happen concern me too much. Although if Obama were to choose Clinton as his running mate, being sucked into another dimension might be preferable.

32. Exactly. Saying I hate Clinton because I am critical of her is absurd.
I do not hate her.

I criticize her, but I do not hate her.

9. I would, for the first time, doubt Obama's judgement.
Which is why we will not see it.

GOP is already running ads with clips from her speeches about Obama - to have her on the ticket would make her look foolish and him look weak.

Fergit it.

28. Obama's not going to let McLame prove her a liar by playing the Tuzla video.
It would be that easy to show Obama picked an unrepentant liar. Sorry, suckers:

Never.

14. Hey, here's a suggestion..
pizza for anyone that uses the word "Hate" in this Forum unless directed at McCain, Bush, Cheney, etc..

The use of that word immediately creates instant stress, disadvantage and colors every situation, making honest relating impossible..

I'd honestly like to see that word banned above all else, don't understand how it is that other words are dissallowed but that one keeps chugging right along.

Let's ditch it.

13. That 17 million is a grossly smaller figure by now. So sorry.
And Obama won't pick Clinton for his running mate. She is divisive, untrustworthy and even though politics can usually overcome the first two in special circumstances (and I think this election would qualify as that) there is the fact that she has made a laughingstock of herself on the national stage.

Niyad, do you realize that her extremely poor behavior has been reported from Asahi Shimbun all the way back around to the New Delhi Times?

  She's made herself toxic

16. what I do realize is that, as posted here on DU several days ago, the coverage
of Sen Clinton, as seen by people around the world, has made women, even in heavily patriarchal countries, worry for the condition of women in this country. pretty sad commentary.

38. You mean like this
I still hate her
It being over doesn't change what she did during the last 3 months. Asking us to suddenly start liking and to forgive Hillary Clinton is like asking the victim of a mugging to suddenly forgive the mugger. If the mugger does his time, if the mugger apologizes and does something constructive and is truly remorseful, then the victim may forgive and forget, but is under no obligation to do so.

I still want her to
