Congrats Obama. Kudos to Hillary. NOW....Top questions from me.
How is Obama paying off Hillary's debt? Separate contributions? What is the deal on that? I just don't know?

How much money stored up does Obama have?

How will DNC keep up with RNC if not taking PAC or lobbyist money? Serious question.

What will Obama/Hillary/Bill/Warren Buffett/Ted Kennedy/John Edwards/etc. etc. do for an encore? Now that the buzz is still all around the Democrats...what does the machinery of building up and keeping excited the grass roots support look like? How do they crush McCain and also help the chances of more Dem senators, representatives, etc.??

1. It HAS to be separate contributions As dictated by law.
Obama cannot give her money out of his campaign funds, only ask his supporters to make contributions of their own free will. Or they can co-host a fundraiser and split the contributions.

2. so does his site really have a link telling folks how to donate to her?
I didn't see it. I saw the "say Thank You to Hillary" page and filled that out to wish her well...but didn't see where a person can contribute to Hillary. Does one only do that at her site right now?

6. me too. If we can do it for Obama....the wider group can do it for DNC
I just want us to win, win, win. And it seems like if there's good policy made in the next few years, and the DNC gets stronger....the people will figure out they REALLY DO matter more than as a vote every 4 years.

Hopefully this spurs greater political and community involvement too.

It's scary to trust someone...but I'm gonna try and do it.

8. I live in the Detroit area,I hear a lot of bitching about
what the republicans have done to us.I won't hear anymore of that without a plea to give what they can spare(and that's not much around here) to the Democratic party.Time to wake up from the nightmare.

10. Or through surrogates.
Lobby-->Law Firm-->Obama Campaign

Lobby-->individuals-->Obama Campaign

The anti lobby rules will snag all lobbyists and money coming directly from lobby interests, but there are always individuals associated with same who can give.

5. He hasn't yet said that his campaign will help to pay off her debt.
So far this is just conjecture by the MSM and the online folks.

The RNC isn't taking in much money this time around. All of the momentum is with us. We will fund the DNC the same way we've funded Obama.. with small donations from millions of citizens. This government is ours.
