2. Voted. But does anyone under the age of 65 even use AOL anymore?
AOL to the Internet is what Beta was to VCRs.

No wonder they like McCain.

12. Good point! And the same reason I think telephone polls are basically
useless too. The "still using a landline" demographic skews much older than the general voting population.

4. WRONG: 53-47 for McSame :(

You got my hopes up - AOL usually swings very conservative, and this shows nothing different.

Way too many Red States on that map.

8. Interesting that Obama's numbers are the same for NC as they are for VA
I don't know why people don't think he can take NC. I am FROM this state and tell you that he has JUST AS GOOD a shot at taking NC as he does VA. If he pays attention to this state, and courts the voters, and gets out the vote there is a REMARKABLY good chance he will win it, but I am afraid it is going to get over looked and he won't push to make us a swing state when we could be!

11. GA could be. He had the same numbers in GA that he had in VA as well in that poll
but SC wasn't looking so good... and neither was Texas. He was in the 30's. But I do think he can win VA, NC, and GA if he pushes with all his might. If he doesn't even bother, or tries to rely on Jim Webb and nothing else... he wont win even VA. He CAN win these states, he just as to work for it.

I agree, he needs to work for Florida too. The pan handle there is tough though. Just like the mountains in NC will be tough. That AOL poll had him VERY close in PA. 49 to 51. AOL seems to skew conservative as well so ...

He needs to at least win PA and either OH or FL and/or he needs to plan on flipping MORE than just VA.
