Obama! Obama! Obama!, All day long Obama!
Not hating on Hillary, but can we shift the conversation around here to talking about the winner?
She gave a great speech. And we should do what she advices, and not waste time focusing on the past.

SO on to what's in important winning the General and defeating McSAME!

I am so happy that Obama won! And Thursday I got an Opportunity to hear him speak and shake his hand. But what I found incredible wasn't the speech which was awesome, what I found incredible was the interaction between people from all different walks of life.

I was down on the floor hours before the event started. And I got a chance to see something that made me realize how powerful all this really is. I have a habit of looking at people and making a judgment about them the moment I see them. I don't believe I am alone in this habit. And when my 10 second judgment is incorrect, which 99.9% of the time it is, I shift my position based on facts.

Anyway, I am on the floor and in front of me are two couples. One by my judgment is a "Redneck" couple, (please take no disrespect in that term, where I come from people are proud to call themselves "redneck") the other is, by my judgment, a "black couple" and they have a cute little baby boy everyone is playing with.

The two men begin speaking to each other, the "redneck" turns out to be a spanish american guy, and the "black couple" come to find out the guy is from Africa, and his wife is French Indian, with a very sexy french accent. (off topic but it was hot, wish I spoke french)

I forgot, when I heard what the were talking about, I took a picture of them. I guess I wanted to remember the moment.

Anyway, back on point. Because of my original perception, I saw something I had never seen before. A spanish american man, asking an african man, about his homeland, where he was from. What was his country like. and Vice versa. Please understand I don't live in a vacuum I see people of all races and backgrounds everyday interacting. But for whatever reason this felt different, important. It was a seemingly insignificant moment in time. But the more I think about it, the more I realize how important it was. Because of this movement that has become the "Obama Movement" some unlikely people are coming together, creating friendships, and learning about each others culture, and bridging divides that should never have existed in the first place.

I heard Obama say once, "My mother is white, my father is African, it is in my DNA to believe that people can come together."

He is not perfect, No One is but,
Thank GOD he is the Nominee and will be the next President!
