4. I'm deeply suspicious of obama....and actions like this don't help
I'd want our next President to restore our Constitutional rights that have been taken recently....not do this......obama is upcoming nightmare for this country. NOONE has asked him ANY serious questions in this primary...just stupid fluff.

Sens. Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Mel Martinez (R-Fla.) authored a bill (with 11 co-sponsors, including Sen. Barack Obama) that was incorporated into a housing bill passed by the Senate Banking Committee 19-2 before the Memorial Day recess — a bill that creates a national fingerprint registry.

According to a Martinez press release, the language merely “create national licensing and oversight standards for residential mortgage originators.”

One of the standards, John Berlau of the Competitive Enterprise Institute says, may “require thousands of individuals working even tangentially in the mortgage and real estate industries — and not suspected of anything — to send their prints to the feds.”

This is a step in the wrong direction — at least for a nation that preserves freedom.

5. Are you for real?
Obama is a constitutional lawyer. You know all those "present" votes he made in the Illinois Senate? Most of them where because he thought the law may have been unconstitutional.

He has been asked no serious questions? Are you kidding?

14. Um just because you haven't been paying attention
Obama has vowed to review every executive order in the first few weeks in office, and to immediately repeal any that are unconstitutional.

And if the reporters didn't ask him many serious questions it's because they prefered focussing on Wright, and Ayers, and all that other crap. He's been very clear and consistent on what he intends to do when in office. A centerpiece of his campaign deals with making government more open and accountable, and he prescribes many concrete methods to do so... please do some research. You can start at his website.

11. The link isn't working.
I'll try going through CNN's website.

And for general consumption:

I'm really pleased that Obama is the presumptive nominee. I was NOT pleased by the long drawn out primary because I just wanted it over with. In my more lucid moments, I understood why Senator Clinton fought as long as she did and I also understand why her supporters were right there along with her. I also understand those that are unhappy with the result. Were the situation reversed, I would mumble and grumble and be royally pissed.

Would I vote? I know I wouldn't vote for McCain. That would just be stupid, he's the polar opposite of everything we believe in. But would I be angry enough to sit it out? I'd like to say no, I couldn't do that because the world is at stake. But a week after the final primary? I don't know what I'd say.

For the Clinton supporters that are refusing or not ready to get behind Obama - I understand fully. I just hope that by November, the possibility of President McCain motivates you to vote for the Democrat.

Peace
