1. What does your mamallian kill have to do with the general discussion of
Politics? Do you need to prove your species superiority over adolescent Dolphins here?

I, for one, am NOT impressed. I ate fish and beef before I learned that there is no need to eat animals to survive and prosper in health without eating mammals, or other live animals. You should reconsider your life, your grandchildren will NOT have a choice, if you kill and eat so many animalson this planet.

Now your political point here?

24. you might just want to refer to it as mahi mahi
that will stop the confusion. Not that I understand why everyone is so confused in the first place. It isnt like you go fishing for Flipper.

6. I would guess the OP is referring to a dolphin fish, not the mammal of the same name.

3. Did you notice there were fewer boats out?
Edited on Mon Jun-09-08 11:25 PM by tularetom
We went out for striper in suisun bay last weekend (not really the best season for them) and we had the whole place to ourselves. I think the price of fuel has begun to affect the sport fishing biz at least here in CA.

Edited to add: You're getting flamed for something you didn't do. You needed to include a picture like this:

This is a dolphin.

:silly: it doesn't matter how long you think about someone eating a baby dolphin, if that's how you interpret it. All you're doing is making yourself look like a fish geek, so there! :*

38. I went deep sea drinking...er, fishing, once.
It was fun, but I hate the sun, and there was much too much of it.

Went on a whale watch a couple times on cloudy days and that was much better. Big mofo's. :)

One of two things I want to do before I die is go down in a shark cage with great whites around. I'd even do it without the cage if it was normal, non-people eating sharks.

The other thing is to go to Mars, but that seems right out. x(

13. You really ate a dolphin??
Ew. I couldn't do that.

We had fresh lake trout tonight. Delicious. My son-in-law took my grandson for his first fishing trip yesterday. Well, a 3 year old gets bored pretty quickly and lost interest in his Spiderman fishing pole. They left it in the water for the heck of it. Next thing you know the pole is bent and the line is zipping out of the reel. He had to really play the fish just right, but that little Spiderman pole brought in a 17 inch trout. Only fish anyone caught while they were out there.

27. ah, okay, of course
Well I hadn't ever heard of eating an actual dolphin. I'm not that judgmental about what people eat anyway. Different cultures and all. My daughter and I were actually talking about the idea that perhaps we shouldn't be killing kitties and puppies the way we do. Wouldn't it really be more responsible to feed people, especially if they eat kitties and puppies in their culture anyway.
