Regarding Hillaryis44 and other party dividing website.
Edited on Tue Jun-10-08 01:29 AM by and-justice-for-all
If they are what they are claiming they are: Pro-Hillary/Democrats, I find their tactic to be deplorable and an utter disgrace to the entire party. Just because your candidate did not WIN the nomination does no justify the action of attempting to hand McWar the White House. By aiding in giving McWar the White House, WE ALL LOSE.

If they are a Faux Pro-Hillary/Democrat front sponsered by the McBush camp; as far as I am concerned you have been had. This 'divide and conquer' tactic is to obvious.

What 'divide and conquer' looks like: http://www.hillaryis44.org/

"We Democrats Are Not Coming Home

Action Item 2: Hopefully everyone has acted on Action Item 1. The same contacts who received your emails today should get them regularly - maybe once a week. Remind them all regularly - I am not voting for Obama in NOvember.

Our second action item for today and for the next few days, is to as quickly as possible, preserve as much documentation and videos as possible. The official Hillary for President website might be shut down soon. Videos will begin to disappear. Documentation will soon begin to disappear. Everyone should try to salvage as much of that information as possible - as quickly as possible. Don’t forget to rescue the affiliated sites. The Factcheck website has already disappeared. Act quickly."

There is more of the same trite and bitterness on the site and those like it, but I do not have to tell you that nor do I recommend giving them hits. This was not a sexist issue, but sites like Hillaryis44 has turned this into a sexist issue, but it never was. They think that there should have been some favoritism for HRC because she is a WOMAN and given, not earned, the nomination. The entire site is based on sexist remarks and right near the top, in action item 1, they reveal their true selves:

"I reject NOw and in NOvember the Obama race-baiting, gay-bashing, woman-hating campaign of division and distraction."

Race baiting?, Gay-bashing?, woman-hating? campaign of DIVISION and DISTRACTION. What hallucinogenic drug are these people on? It seems some people need anger management counseling. There is in NO WAY that ANY of those accusations about the Obama campaign are even close to true.

The real campaign of Division and Distraction is in fact those like Hillaryis44, are in fact trying to divide the entire party and distract with sexism and disinformation. Now is not the time for this bullshit, how selfish does someone have to be that they are willing to through the entire country under a bus?

If HRC was the nominee, even though I am a Edwards/Obama supporter, I still would have voted for her in November. Why? Because I am not a shallow and selfish fool willing to drowned it all by handing a Rethug the White House.

You should support the Democratic nominee REGARDLESS.

11. I ignore it and I don't publicize it - which is what they want
They are insignificant. You can start your own website if you want it doesn't mean anything.

We may be the only ones in the blogosphere that even know of its existence.

Rather than driving the MSM to find it why don't you just wait until somebody in the MSM actually comments on it.

12. "Just don't look."
As Lisa Simpson suggested as a counter to irritating advertisements.

The surest way to break them is to win- irresistably.

Focus on what's ahead and kick McCain's arse. That's the job.

20. No way! Stop smearing Hillary!
The above-mentioned Forum is an independent site that has no formal connection with the Clinton campaign.

Please stop trying to suggest that Hillary is somehow connected to folks who are actively supporting John McCain.

18. These are McCain-supporter bashing threads
Since that's who they're backing now. Not the candidate that Clinton has backed. Hillary is 44 is just another Democrat-bashing hate site, just like Free Republic.

I did not post a "Clinton-supporter bashing thread". I was pointing the kind of party dividing sites that is Hillary is 44. How they are not really democratic and most likely a rethug ploy to divide us.

Targeting Dems for defeat in primaries is fair game.

Targeting Dems for defeat in the GE is REPUBLICAN.

31. ok, I disagree with any site under a Dem moniker not supporting the nominee
Though we'll never know now, I'm certain there would be a similar but more vocal anti-Hillary movement in the blogosphere if she'd been the nominee.

However, this really isn't to far removed from a host of "progressive" sites calling for the defeat of democrats in red states. In fact, in another thread ongoing on this subject, there is shock and outrage that some blogs are calling for the defeat of John Kerry. Like I said there, progressives have been targeting certain Dems for years. Blowback is to be expected.

32. There is absolutely nothin wrong with going after incumbent Democrats in the primaries
and that's what most of what you decry are doing.

Going after Kerry in the primary, though laughable, is 100% legitimate. Going after a Democrat in the General eleciton is Republican.

there are HUGE differences in the two.

Primary challenges have to be expected.

Edited on Tue Jun-10-08 10:56 AM by wyldwolf
I've repeatedly stated I disagree with targeting the nominee, yet you keep hammering that point. Why? Is that the only point you have?

My ONE goal is to show the irony and hypocrisy of someone being outraged at Kerry being targeted yet cheering Clinton being targeted and to show the "targeting" could be blowback for years of "progressive" targeting. We may even see more.

26. All democrats....
should vote democrat this november. Having said that, the only reason groups like this exist is because of the lowbrow rhetoric of O fans, and the dishonest, and unfair transformation of the Clintons into racists, which has only been discovered after twenty-five+ years in public life. I understand their feelings, and hope they can overlook the damage the republican-like slime machine caused their chosen candidate. Further insults, and demonization by O fans will only steel them to their cause, and the sooner the Obama camp understands this, the better chance their will be of these HRC supporters voting Dem in the GE. Noone in thier right mind can expect to come into someone's living room, shit in the middle of the floor, then expect a reward for doing it, and become angry, or indignant when someone points out what they did was wrong. These type O fans will be key to Obama losing, unless they come to their senses before it's too late. Thanks.
