MSNBC mentioned last night that on Jan. 20, 2009, there will be SIX Supreme Court justices over 70 years old.

Puts the importance of electing Senator Obama, uniting the party and defeating Mccain invery clear perspective doesn't it.

The 2008 election is incredibly critical to ensuring that progressive ideals move forward and that simple fact is a VERY stark reminder of how incredibly huge the stakes are.

5. When the wingers in the Senate start holding up the nominees,

Obama should propose that if all nominees are brought to a vote, he will NOT recommend that Alito and Roberts be impeached for lying at their confirmation hearings. If they insist on holding the court hostage, then impeachment will begin.
