Two Southern women, a Republican and a Democrat, were sitting on the veranda last Sunday discussing what they did last Winter...

The Republican said “Last Winter I got married to a very wealthy Republican who buys me anything I want!”

"Why, only last week he bought me a brand new Mercedes!” continued the Republican.

“how nice!” the Democrat repeated.

“So, what about you, what did you do last summer?” Simpered the Republican.

“Oh, I took a wonderful class in deportment and elocution!” was the reply.

"My goodness! Whatever did you learn?“ the Republican asked.

The Democrat said quietly, "I learned that whenever I talk with a Republican, it is much better to say “how nice” when I really want to say “fuck you!”

then he came to this one door where the fellow apologized and said he could not vote for a Republican because he was a born Democrat.

"A born Democrat? What is that?"

"Well, my grandfather was a Democrat and my father was a Democrat, so I am a Democrat".

"That's stupid! You mean to say if your grandfather was a dumbass and your father was a dumbass that you would be a dumbass?"
