Sam Nunn is so old

he could be McCain's father.

...or Obama's grandfather.

2. Hmm, part of the deal with Hillary?
Hill: "Pick a veep who cannot seriously contend with me for pres when you're done and I am on the Obama team."

Not a bad strategy if it happened.

5. The problem is
she would be facing the incumbent (Obama) in 2012, and probably be too old to run in 2016.

6. He looks younger and healthier than McCain to me.
There is nothing inherently wrong with someone older being President or VP as long as they are healthy and
their cognitive abilities are normal. I'm tired of hearing people go on about it. McCain's problem isn't that he's
old, it's that he doesn't seem to be very healthy and he seems confused at times - that may indicate health and
cognition issues.

9. and he is very homophobic
Nunn joined Senator John Warner in opposing Clinton's attempt to lift the ban on gays in the military. DADT came out as a result of Nunn's homophobia.
