For every "Dem." who won't vote for Obama, there's a Repub. who won't vote for McCain.
Some conservative Repubs. are NOT happy with McCain. They don't trust his new RW positions. Not only that, some moderate Repubs. are ALSO not happy with him, seeing that he is now changing many positions pandering to the right (the ones who don't trust that he really "means" it). So for everyone worried that Dems. will vote for McCain since they can't have Hillary, I think there are more Repubs. who won't vote for McCain for the above reasons.

1. Excellent point!
We all need to keep in mind as well that polls are about as reliable as Uncle Ray after four beers.

2. The MSM never draws that equation, do they?!?
I would like to see some real numbers on that, and on whether this supposed exodus of Clinton supporters is really unusual at this stage. (I've heard someone say it's actually around the level of typical, but can't source that.)

3. The thinking in the McSame camp is supposedly that the
conservatives will cave because of the supreme court justices. Gawd, we have to win in November.

10. But then isn't/shouldn't the thinking the same re: Obama?

And the MODERATE Repubs. who don't know yet that McCain has turned into a RWer won't WANT the SC justices he'd choose?

12. I guess it depends on the definition of moderate, what their
expectations are, and just how republican they are. Do they have a conscience, are they worried about 4 more years, etc.

I also wonder about independents. What in McSame's platform would attract them?

4. And I work with 3 of them.
I've been sparring with these guys constantly for the past 7 years. None of them will vote for McLame. Not a single freaking one of them.

They don't know who they're for, but they sure know who they're against!

14. GMTA!
I heard some Evangelicals are either not going to vote and the "new brand" of Evangelicals (who care about things like global warming and caring for the poor) will vote for OBAMA!
