Politics is a full contact sport.

And I know I may be in the minority here when I say all our in fighting on GD-P was simply democracy in action.

Was it at times ugly, rude, baseless, and mean? Yep.

Did it also fine tune our message, our wits, our will, and our determination to kick puke ass this fall? Yes.

The level of discord between Obama and Hillary also served to energize our party out there and on DU. We are better for the fight and have expressed both our preference and anger at the polls this primary season in unprecedented numbers.

GD-P was well worth the fight.

We are after all a passionate and opinionated bunch - just the way I like it! Thank goodness we don't walk in lockstep like the freepers do.
