I'd like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has made a sincere effort to advocate for a democratic candidate here. It's been a blast.

In 40 minutes, I'm off to pick up a copy of Vince Bugliosi's new book, "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder." I've always admired Mr. Bugliosi, and enjoy all of his non-fiction books, even a recent one where I disagree with him. He has become a bit crusty with age, but GD-P has certainly preparted me for that.

I'm looking forward to President Barack Obama, and First Lady Michelle Obama.

3. You should also pick up "Free Ride" about the media's lovefest with McCain

It's got some good ammo for the GE. As informed as you are, you won't find a lot new in it but it is very concise and well cited. I found it interesting to see it all laid out. Plus, I think it has some good pointers on how to combat some of the McCain mythologies that the press likes to use to build up McCain. Especially the "maverick" myth. It's about $16. It's paperback and put out by Mediamatters.org.

already headed off to the bookstore (28 miles away) to pick up Vince Bugliosi's and Ted Sorenson's new books. I'll be needing some new books for the weekend. I will suggest that one for those people who will be looking for something for Father's Day!

My son is going to pick the Bugliosi book up for me. I gave him money to get Ted Sorenson's new book, "Counselor: A Life at the Edge of History," too.
