Proof how fucked up this country is |

After eight years of Bush, looks like we're in for another squeaker election, one close enough to steal. This shouldn't even be close. Why the hell would anyone want another four years of this shit?

1. I doubt it will be a squeaker |
|
I think it will be 318-220 or better.

5. With an open, fair, and honest electoral process it would be... |
|
...but that's not what we've got.

4. I don't think the election is going to anythng approaching close |
|
I think Obama is gboing to wind up with about 320 electoral votes.
Why
There is no real enthusiasm for McCain.. He seems to be Gaffe-prine which will hurt him with swring voters. The trd term of Bush is going to be hard to shake.
Bob Barr is to his right on Border issues and to his left on the war. He won;t win any stated, but he wqill siphon enough votes to make some southern states winnable due to desertions and atroniomical African American Turnout.
The economy the economy the economy.
Once ock solid evangelical are far from united and have no national issue this year. they have no leader, and they despise McCain
Unless Obama does something really stupid.....he should win a couple of red states.

9. Americans are either too busy trying to survive |
|
or too busy playing with their wide-screen TVs, 300 channel line-up or Ipods.
Entralled with their toys and gizmos while their democracy is being pulled right out from under them.

Squeaker? With McCain shooting himself in the foot every day, and Obama only starting to confront him? It's going to be a massacre.
