1. Copy and Paste from Spam? |
|
They include the nonsense in Spam to try to avoid the filters by making it look like a real email.

I'm trying to figure out what this has to do with the General Election and presidential politics? I can be dense, so please have patience with me.

13. it's not copy and pasted, or spam filters would catch on immediately |
|
It has to be a somewhat unique strand of gibberish to constantly outfox the evolving filter with Bayesian poisoning.

It's supposed to get past the SPAM filters of e-mails or other sites. I get this crap in my e-mail all the time and there's always some horribly butchered quote by someone in there, or a great deal of rambling.
Love is always lost...if you're too afraid to find it...
Some bull crap like that.

12. I believe it's an attempt to "fool" the spam filters |
|
by placing seemingly real text, it appears to the spam filters that it's a legit message. Text filters search for verbs and adverbs and nouns and as long as they're in the right places -- and don't contain "erection," "Viagra," "refinance," etc., -- then the filters are supposedly fooled into accepting it as a legit posting. The filters don't check for literary substance or quality writing.
But I could be wrong.
