I've never supported anyone who has won anything before.

5. I've never been this excited about our nominee!!
Edited on Wed Jun-11-08 11:35 PM by TexasObserver
McGovern
Carter
Mondale
Dukakis
Clinton
Gore
Kerry

I supported them all, but I never felt like I do about Obama and his chances. Carter was a gimme. Clinton won because of Perot.

7. I know the feeling!!!
The last time I worked for a winning campaign was Ann Richards' first race for Governor! I went through about 10 years of only voting and not getting personally invested in a race, and then for the last 10 years, I have supported losing candidates, but continued to do so out of the belief that no Republican should run unopposed if at all possible, so I kept supporting state and local candidates with little chance in Texas. Now I might actually have a President, Senator, Judge, Sheriff, Tax Assessor-Collector, and more who have a real shot at winning! I think I have died and gone to political heaven!!! O8)
