I'd Like To Take A Moment To Show Some Appreciation For The Hillary Supporters Here...

For months WillYourVoteBCounted has been posting the "OBAMA DAILY NEWS" here. Obama supporters added news & Op-Ed articles and linked posts from this forum to the thread throughout the day. He requested that pro-Clinton or anti-Obama posters leave those threads alone.

All this time even the most fervent Clinton supporters (or anti-Obama people) obliged his wish and did leave them alone. This might not seem like a big deal to some people, but I'm sure the temptation was great for some to argue about some of the things posted there, given the heat and the competitive nature of the primary season here.

I have found very few opportunities (speaking for myself) to compliment Hillary's supporters here but I thought this was kind of a big deal, and it showed a lot of class on the part of those people.

I wish I could say that I am that evolved that, if Obama had lost the primary, I would be doing the same, but truthfully I just don't know if I would.

I will always support Hillary Clinton. I can't help but to want to support her in all her future endeavours. For VP, for Senate majority leader, Governor, or whatever she wants to do from this point on. (unless it involves killing kittens) Believe it or not, I do think she is a wonderful person, and, IDK, I just connected with her ideas as well as with John Edwards'.

But I am happy and proud to be supporting Obama for president of the United States. I have always thought he was a great candidate as well.

Thank you again for the kind post. I never really had many fights here because I tried to stay out of it as much as possible during the primaries, but wow has GD: P been a lot more fun now that we are all on the same team or what!
