I am so much happier..... |
|
Since I stopped watching the talking idiots on CNN/MSNBC.
The presidential race seems a LOT less dramatic, pressurized, shrill, panicky, urgent, nit-pickey crazymaking......I could go on, but I think you get my drift.
I'm still watching Olberman during dinner, but during the day, after the local noon news around the homestead here, if I'm home and the television is on, it's COPS, or World's Wildest Police Chases.
According to my wife, the people arrested on COPS (the ones with mullets), look just like my family....
Thanks for listening. I just needed to share this with someone....

4. Sometime during this primary season I started watching |
|
all the damned time - I NEVER used to watch the daytime talking heads, or much cable news at all..
(I still have my doubts about a channel obsessed with prison specials calling itself a news station, but I digress...)
Last week, I'd just had enough. I actually think my blood pressure has gone down....
And not to hijack my own thread, but why does it seem that there are ONE set of writers for the entire day? Three or four stories, repeated, with talking head (Panel) spin all day long...
Didn't each talking head used to have their own researchers/producers?
I don't know what I'm prattling about. Rupert Murdoch is going to own everything before it's over, anyhow.
