Obama 304, McCain 221

NORTH CAROLINA NOW BARELY GOP!!!: McCain 45: Obama 43 !!!!
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/north_carolina/election_2008_north_carolina_presidential_election

When EV gets the NC report from Rasmussen, Obama will likely be in the 320 range!!!!

:bounce: :woohoo:

*** Note: Gallup has announced no poll for today due to weather conditions interferring with phone systems

3. Nathan Silver (aka Poblano) - always more conservative - shows Obama with 278
electoral college votes; 54.5% win percentage in electoral college.

http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/

I prefer the most conservative estimate because I think we need to fight like we are behind ALL the way to victory. We are behind - we'd better register more voters. We are behind - we'd better donate more time and money. We are behind - we'd better knock on more doors and hold more backyard BBQs. We are behind - we'd better PUSH more voters to the polls.

Anytime I start to wax poetic about predicting a great win I try to stop myself and DO SOMETHING.

:hi:

4. Yes, but that inludes a LOT of EV's where Obama has a small lead.
Of 5 points or less.

Missouri, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania are going to be tough to nail down.

Still, a lot or reason for optimism.

5. McCain has weaker footing here. Complete Breakdown of Strength
It's true, GOP has no "barely GOP" (yet), but they have more Weak GOP than Weak Dem. And Strong Dem outnumbers Strong GOP.

Strong Dem (175)
Weak Dem (59)
Barely Dem (70)
Exactly tied (13)
Barely GOP (0)
Weak GOP (68)
Strong GOP (153)

16. That is True,
but the "barely" categories favor the Republicans 70-0.

8. oh man
The Republicans have to be trying to think of a way to dump McCain and get a different nominee before it's time to make it official

either that or they are trying to lose this election

11. Missouri and Ohio should be complete toss-ups. Obama has 273 if those go to McCain.

12. On That Map,
Obama could lose Ohio, Florida, and Virginia and still take the election with 284 EVs. That is a very good sign.

Michigan Is moving away from Mccain to Obama however Mccain Is moving ahead In Indiana. At the same time we don't know the full effect of Bob Barr on this race, and what will happen when more see
Mccain upclose when Obama Is running one on One.Inless Barr throws a state to Obama It looks like
for now Virginia Is the sole Southern State he can win however In the Midwest and West he makes up
for It.

then the votes were flipped in the middle of the night.
