From CNN/Opinion Research:


Who would better handle the economy as President?

Obama: 50%; McCain 44%


Who would better handle foreign policy as President?

McCain: 54%, Obama: 43%

1. Since the economy is the no 1 issue, this is good for Obama but I would like to see that number grow

7. Apparently so. People mostly get their news from the TV and mainstream press
The same press that laughs off the impeachment, was instrumental in propagandizing the war and, in general, does not like to stir trouble.

5. What I found interesting about this poll...
With issues most important to Americans, 56% of Americans agree with Obama on those issues, while only 43% don't. McCain, however, only sits at 50% with 48% saying they do not agree with McCain on the issues. That's only a 2 point difference for McCain and a 13 point one for Obama!

6. 100 more years, baby!
I was under the impression that Bush's foreign policy approval ratings were still pretty low; what significant differences are people assuming that there would be between a McCain foreign policy and a Bush foreign policy? There's a good chance that a McCain foreign policy would be both more aggressive and more incompetent...
