why does Dan Abrahms let Pat Buchanan go on his racist hysterical rants and some other douchebag republican flap his jaws. Is this supposed to be news or entertainment? This is just disgusting. Did I go into the way back machine and am I now watching Crossfire. One of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. Pat must be very scared because he went on some sort of coded "Obama is exotic, hates tribes from PA" rant that shouldn't even be allowed on TV. :puke:

long ago. It was frustrating how serious political discussion was reduced to tabloidism. Pat Buchanan was always given ample time to spout his hateful rhetoric, but Dan has this habit of interrupting his Democratic panelists. Abrams is a RW tool, or at the very least, he is very DLC.

Dan should go the way of Tucker Carlson, and the sooner the better. I think MSNBC would be pleasantly surprised if they'd give that spot to Rachel Maddow.

They said of course the GOP is going negative this year. They think they've got a pretty good bead on Obama's candidacy and are licking their chops. They told the Democratic women to run their own campaign and stop fussing over the GOP's campaign. They pretty much laid out how it's going to be. Very dirty.

The Repug strategist said something about Obama being an "upstart", and one of the Democratic strategists (Tanya Acker, who is black), in a dig at the strategist, asked him if he would like to add "exotic" to his description of Obama. Buchanan later used "exotic," in a reference to this earlier exchange. A not-particularly-funny exchange either way, but, unless I missed a part of it somewhere, I don't believe it was Buchanan's original terminology.
