Perspective on Obama's lead in polls: Kerry NEVER led Bush in the polls in 2004
and Bush was NEVER up by more than 4 points.

1. Mentioned this yesterday but only relates to the NBC/WSJ poll
But it is true... Kerry trailed wire to wire between 2 and 4 points, losing by 3

3. In THEIR poll, not in other polls. Still good to see.

(and in addition the two polls are not comparable, as third party candidates like Barr and Nader are not in the 08 poll).

4. How much was Dukakis up by in 1988? Polls are meaningless
until September. Until then, they only measure broad perceptions of the candidate.
