Does anyone have good info on Obama and taxes?
I had a conversation today with a co-worker that is convinced Obama is going to raise our taxes. I told him about the tax story on CNN and the fact that Obama wants to let the Bush's tax cuts expire on the richect, but I really wish I had some good info to give him.

Does anybody know of any?

1. Obama Will Raise Taxes
On Americans making more than $227,000 per year - and even then, it's less of an increase per year than one night at the movies. It's only really significant to those making more than $600,000. Those making less than $60,000 do better (get more tax savings) under Obama than McCain. For those making less than $20,000 a year, their tax savings from McCain isn't even one week's worth of groceries.

Reverse Bush Tax Cuts for the Wealthy: Obama will protect tax cuts for poor and middle class families, but he will reverse most of the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest taxpayers.

5. Yes, that's an easy one -- McCain has a horrible losing argument there...

...unless you make a few million a year.

Also, McCain's claims that "every American's taxes would go up," and that Obama's plan is "the biggest tax increase since WWII," earned him two Pinnochios in the Washington Post.

6. Open Left posted a cool graphic from the Washington Post

Here's the Tax Policy Center article that the graphic was based on for all the details.
