1. Watching Ponies Prance is more important
Saw him on the Daily Show watching them.

The man loves Horsies as evident by his appointment of Brownie in the last election.

4. He likes watching horses, but he's too chickenshit to ride one.
And he claims to be a "rancher" from Texas??

But then, the horses are grateful. They have seen how he rides a bike.

And a Segway.......

5. How decent of him to be carefully avoiding obvious photo-ops and making sure those nice people
lift THEMSELVES out of disaster and devastation.

He's so, so, so... HIM! :puke:

7. I thought about this many times over the last few days.
He is "legacy building" in Europe.

Now (as many of you know), I am not the President of the Unites States.

But here's what I DO know.

This Iowa thing could become Katrina Redux.

If I "were" the President of the Unites States, I'd have my ass on Air Force One so QUICK that it would look like the old Roadrunner cartoons, where the Roadrunner goes "meep meep" and you see a could of dust that formed where the Roadrunner USED to be STANDING.

RUMMYisFROSTED, I would encourage you to look for the recent David Letterman - Scott McClellan video (it's on Crooks & Liars). Letterman nailed it: Bush just doesn't care. It doesn't get more complex than that.

I wish it did. I wish I could understand, that I could "intellectualize" this asshole's inner compass.

But it all comes down to the fact that people in Iowa are screwed, and until the November 2008 elections, we won't have a president who gives a rat's ass.

Do you think the security you would require would help the situation?

Please tell me what you would actually do?

9. The President just needs to acknowledge the situation
This is the face of Katrina:

...strumming the guitar given to him by some completely unknown, "D-list" Country singer prick (Mark Wills)

...and...

...and enjoying some MIGHTY FUCKIN' TASTY CAKE with McCain.

So I hear what you are saying.

To a degree.

What would I do?

I'd acknowledge the situation and pledge the support of the Federal Government, rather than strum a guitar I couldn;t play and stuff my worthless frat boy Oedipal substance abusing AWOL ass with fucking CAKE.

That's what I'd do.

But I guess we will just have to agree to disagree---and that is ok!

But, let's agree on voting Dem in November.

So yeah.

12. Things he could have done BEFORE this happened.
Such as NOT have a large portion of the National Guard overseas. I'd dispatch them to the area, and send strong, quality federal relief and rescue operations there--in short, everything GWB HASN'T done in 8 years.

Please tell me you are kidding. He's supposed to act on our behalf.

13. I think he should remain in Paris and eat cake with the Sarkozys - preferably at Versailles
If he comes to Iowa, he'll just screw up the traffic and get in the way of the supply trucks and shut down the airspace so that rescue choppers can't get through for as long as it take him to stage the Insincere Presidential Mouthings.

If looting did occur then it would make a horrific situation even worse.

So far no looting has happened.

17. Huh? You may have good intentions but you are very bitter.....
Of course, the #1 priority is the death, pain, suffering, heartache, etc., etc. that encapsulate such a tragedy. Wow.

But, sadly, remember New Orleans? The looting?

I am glad that no looting has occured and hope it stays that way.

Wow.

If Bush flies into action, it'll appear that he deliberately screwed New Orleans, and that would further kill the GOP. So they're riding it out.
