Heard Bloomberg on the radio today at Congressional hearings. |
He could be a problem for Dems if the GOP runs him as VP. I have to say that I was impressed with his knowledge of the economy and the infrastructure issues facing the nation. On the economy and what needs to be done, I think he is way ahead of most of the Dems. He thinks the way homeland security is being handled is allowing us to committ economic suicide. Thinks the Feds give away too much money for "pork" initiatives with are not nearly as important to the national interests as a national transportation plan and infrastructure plan...but as long as the Feds are giving the money away, naturally the mayors and govenors will take it. Catch this broadcast if you can. I was also impressed by the mayor of Atlanta, Hon. Shirley Franklin. Learned a lot.

2. He's pro-choice, right? |
If so, he won't be McCain's VP. McCain has ruled out a pro-choice VP.

Would probably be the last straw for any Conservatives left that support him.

4. Bloomberg was a lifelong Dem who changed to avoid our primary |
So it's not a partisan issue here.
