Stop Reacting - Social (In)security - Time For Us To Play Offense
I look on this board, and there is a lot of whining about various biased remarks made by the RW media. We repeat each biased remark, then complain about how unfair this GOP world is. Well, news flash, this is not going to be a fair election. I posted separately about the article from the Nation regarding Big Media. Big Media is biased. Deal with it.

How do we deal with it? By attacking, and beating the GOP at its own surrogate games.

For example, here's a story about McCain surrogates taking credit for the resignation of Johnson:

Well, can Democrats respond? Yes. Easily. We just need some focused that is loosely coordinated with what Obama's campaign is emphasizing. For example, Barack Obama is talking about social security.

So, what can you do? By flooding the various boards, blogs, writing letters to newspapers, etc., with the truth about John McCain's attempts to weaken social security, as well as with personal stories about people you know who rely on social security.

The GOP is highly centralized, which they use to their advantage. Democrats should take advantage of their grassroots support, and attack McCain's positions. Put him on the defensive.

Stop whining. Start winning.
