A few questions. but first....FUCK Fox News!!! |
|
Edited on Sat Jun-14-08 03:50 AM by PretzelWarrior
I guess they and their filth are the real evidence we have free speech in this country. They are so out of step with the people that I hope their audience continues to shrink like George's Johnson right after getting out of the ocean.
Question: How's the board past few days? Anyone getting tombstoned? MOre civil in here?

3. OK now that I can read your full post. |
|
Seems better to me, but I've been busy so maybe I've missed stuff.
I seriously believe FOXnews is going to help us win the election. I'm not kidding.
Yes, they will still resonate with that small entrenched die-hard faction of wingnuts that will always be with us. But I think a great many more Americans that were once in step with Foxnews are now pretty sick of it. Don't you feel that there is this scent of change in the air in America - I don't just mean because its become the theme of a campaign. Even before that, its like much of American has just grown tired of this "era" of neo-conservatism and simply wants something else.
I think that Fox gets very hysterical when it feels like their "grasp" on the country is slipping through their fingers - and I think they start to look laughable to the people who have just gotten weary of the shtick.

4. I just want some serious bad kharma their way |
|
they have been stoking the bloodlust of Americans since 9/11. They've been hiding the truth about this administration. They've been completely biased and mean spirited with no hint of caring for the truth in reporting any type of story whether about Democrats, hurricane Katrina, economy....you name it. They are not only a mouth piece for Bush's crime group. They are also a voice for Dixiecrat America.
When imagining all of the United States placed through the lens of Faux News...it is a scary, fake, animalistic place indeed. Thank God that at this point there are more and more Americans realizing the lack of authenticity...the artifice....the noise machine.
But, we must ALLL REJECT and quickly correct for others the false statements they make about the Obamas or we as AMerican people or any of that. To sit in silence while a lie is perpetrated is to be a tacit participant in the lie.

I wish he would quit Fuxx and write a tell-all book (like Scotty).

8. I agree, but that's why he should stay there. Oh, and... |
|
...is it me, or does he use too much mascara? It seems odd.
But I agree, he's the only moderate they have there, and you know they'd replace him with a nazi.

16. I've seen him do good like on Katrina |
|
Edited on Sat Jun-14-08 05:30 PM by PretzelWarrior
that one opened my eyes about him. However, I've seen far too many bad, bad reports he's done which were typical Faux News hit jobs.
I truly wish he would get sick of them and make a jump to a legitimate news service or a network.
I think guys like Jake Tapper and Richard Engel are MILES ahead of Shepherd. Miles O'Brien? Not so much.
I'd like to take both CNN AND FauxNews back to the woods and head shoot them. As CNN sunk to Faux's level in the past 15 years it's been a sad sad thing to watch.
Remember when Headline News actually was nothing but a loop of the top headlines? Of course, I remember when MTV actually played videos too.

17. Faux news has been outed so much that I cannot believe |
|
that there is anyone but the ignorant and those that agree with their filth that still watch them. And if the people are still watching them because they agree with their venom, then I hope they, the viewer, goes down with them. Their news(?) is so obviously biased that anyone that watches it has to know it. I watch Keith Olberman, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report because they are biased and I will readily admit it. Although The Daily Show used to be less so, I don't think it is now because I wouldn't still be watching it if it wasn't.
I'm sorry that I like my bias but it is not deceitful bias and that is the difference. Faux is harmful, it is lies and it feeds prejudice/racism. That is what makes it wrong. It could be bias and still tell the truth, but it doesn't. flat faux false fox news is the curse of the stupid who believe it. (I had another f word but was too much a lady to use it.:D)

7. I do feel the winds of change blowing |
|
and I think they do too, and it threatens them. The more threatened they feel, the sillier and more stupid and hysterical they get.
"Terrorist fist jab"...please. They're losing it, and it's actually becoming comical. It's like, every day they have to apologize for some stupid thing one of them said the day before. I'm loving it.

12. good point. cue the Scorpions song and photo montage of Bush admin |
|
and their many fiascos. lol.
Wow. that would be a fun powerpoint presentation. Iraqis dead and maimed. GOP members being led in cuffs to jail, Katrina disaster and Bush's callous response. There is just so much material for that...then cut to Obama's speeches and works. Cut to the tens of thousands showing up at his events. Then cut to McCain in front of the green screen with his montone "My friends...." and his "Bomb, bomb Irans...."
We can see we need change. Even the idiots among us have figured it out which means it's really bad. It's really really sad that we have to wait for those just south of the center line on the bell curve to get on board and didn't take it from these criminals in 2004.

must put out competing points of view....the enclosed mind fuck bubble their audience is in will burst and their viewership will drop to near zero.

but don't remember the name, I believe 'meth' (?) was in it. There were several who had been here just for a few months, and one yesterday disapeared after only a few posts. So it is swift these days. I am hoping that my ignore list will soon be empty and I won't have to keep editing it. :D
Updated : 3 more from my ig list have gotten a delivery today. WOW!!
