This is at Mark Halperin's page at time.com
Obama to Speak About Fatherhood Sunday The Senator will mark Father’s Day by speaking about “the responsibilities we have as fathers and parents to help our children achieve their dreams” at Chicago’s Apostolic Church of God. Remarks will come during a service beginning at 12:45 pm ET.
Can't wait to see it! This should be another memorable speech. Hopefully, the cable nets carry it live. Should be very moving as well.

1. No offense to Senator Kerry, but this is the kind of thing his campaign was lacking |
|
And a shining example of how Obama is going to run a much better campaign.

If he had the kind of speaking ability Obama has. Kerry speaks well if a person is converted and intellectual, but Obama reaches the masses. They use their strengths as best they can.

2. I'm sure it will be memorable. |

On the other hand, there is the empty seat at the Russert home on Father's Day. I keep wondering how it has hit his father.
I would imagine Obama will insert a bit of humor and an admonition for those who don't support their children. He seems to be able to bring out the best is all kinds of people, so it might be a moving speech.

6. Good. Obama needs to channel his inner Heathcliff Huxtable. |
|
I've long said that's the way for him to connect to those lower-class white folks who claim Obama doesn't share their values: Begin sounding like the one black guy they all loved and trusted and invited into their home every Thursday night. Of course, Barack will have to do it with fewer kids than Coz did.
Seriously, if Obama would wear some of those big cuddly sweaters like Cosby did in his show, he'd win 80 percent of the vote!

7. It'll be great. McCain will be like to young women, "Keep your legs shut!" |
