Obama and Health Care Industry |
|
I've heard that Obama is the candidate who has received the most amount of money from the Health care industry. Is that really true? If he has, is it even possible, no matter how moral and just he is(which I believe), that the health care industry won't have a huge say in his policy making?
Thanks for all your answers in advance guys.

1. He's received money from individuals who work in the health care industry. |

He does not receive money from PACs (health care industry PACs, etc.) and federal lobbyists.
Individual donations from people who happen to work in the health care industry doesn't mean he's beholden to do favors for the companies they work for.
I work in the insurance industry. I have to disclose my employer every time I give to Obama's campaign. I'm not expecting him to do favors for insurance companies based on people like me, who happen to work in that field.
