Get this! My Republican two time Bush voting Republican Boss is going to vote for Obama

At least that is what he is telling me now. I sent him an email with an article about how Blacks were finding joy in Obama's nomination. It was a very touching and moving article. It must have moved him because he wrote me back saying he was going to vote for Obama because he is not excited about McCain and because Obama IS BLACK. In his email he said it was time for Blacks who seem to get shafted by police and the court system to get the presidency. However, he is not very excited about Obama raising the Capital Gains tax.

I don't know if this was something he felt at that moment because the article moved him and after time passes he will forget that feeling and vote for McCain or if it will last. Lets hope it stays with him and many others. He lives in Colorado which could be strong for Obama. Interesting that for some people like my boss, his being black might become a plus.

This is also interesting. He had been reading Glen Beck's stupid book and we got into an argument about Global Warming. He quoted Glen Beck's stat about Cow farts causing more green house gasses than cars. LMAO! It took me five seconds to disprove that on Google and I then sent him the Wikipedia link covering Scientific opinion on Climate Change: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_opinion_on_climate_change

After he read through it he decided Glen Beck was wrong and he was convinced there probably was man made impacts on Global Warming. That might be a good link to send to skeptics because the number of scientific organizations on this list will make anyones jaw drop.

On another note, I was driving around downtown Albuquerque yesterday and saw about four Obama signs and no McCain signs. That that was a "GOOD SIGN". No pun intended.
