It is actually rather clever of Obama to use this phrase. The Rovian Disinformation System would like to spin this as 'n*r with a gun: be afraid', but that puts Obama in the 'has and uses guns' category, which makes him more acceptable to those bitter white suburban gun-clinging males who fantasize that they are gun owning rugged individuals, a key demographic for McCain's dwindling hopes for winning in november.
