He wants him caught before he leaves office. This tells me they already know where he is and this will be the October surprise to keep the rethugs in the White House. TERROR TERROR AGAIN!!!!!

8. In a way he did....
A lot of people claim that Bin Laden's tape that was released the Friday before the '04 Election swung the election to Bush. Many polls had Kerry ahead 3-4% nationally or more before the tape came out as well as ahead 3-4% or more in swing states (Ohio, Florida) and then he lost by around that margin.

Of course, there is also voter repression, fraud, etc. too.

2. Geez, for how many years are people going to claim this?
Every year since 2002, bin Laden was supposed to get dragged out of cold storage at a convenient time, usually October.

Give it a rest. The guy is sipping tea somewhere in a lawless place about the size of Oklahoma. And it might even be Oklahoma, for all
anyone knows.

5. Are you kidding me? If they had him we would have known. Things are
falling apart in Afganistan and Iraq

Everything they have touched they have mismanaged

As much as they would like it, hell, as much as I would like it, they aren't going to get him just by saying it

6. There have been so many #2s...
...I really don't think it would do them any good, other than to give something to the Bush loyalists twitter party.

7. Maybe we will see a Weekend at Bernie's play out.
The timing must be perfect. Who knows how long it takes to thaw out a body.

11. It would probably help Obama. "Osama Bin Laden is still on the loose, 7 years after 9/11"
