Edited on Mon Jun-16-08 10:02 AM by Ichingcarpenter
Tim Russert has nothing to do with the Presidential Election.

General Discussion is the appropriate place for anyone that needs to post another Tim Russert Thread.

WE HAVE A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION TO WIN ........

PLEASE?

4. Was Timmy going to sway the voters again this year like he did in 2000 and 2004?
Edited on Mon Jun-16-08 10:09 AM by Major Hogwash
I wonder who they'll get to fill his place.

Tim was the guy in charge of promoting the Iraq War for NBC and MSNBC.
He was the HEAD of their news division.

He's not "with us" anymore, so I agree, let them talk about him in a different forum.
Maybe DU should open a "Warmongering and War Profiteering" section for the people who want to cheer on the Iraq War.

6. Yes, please. These "I hate Tim Russert, I'm so cool and cynical", threads are tacky as shit.
DU is better than that. At least I thought it was.

8. Russert, NOW, has nothing to do with this election
I don't care if you liked him, disliked him, want to honor him
or name a potato disease after him. General Discussion can handle
all those opinions just fine.

9. The "Media" topic forum might be more suitable.
They should be sent somewhere without as much traffic so that maybe the "who's more negative" pissing contest might finally end.

12. Tim Russert ENDED Hillary's democratic campaign.
In a twisted Cronkite resolve moment told the truth, Hillary lost. We all knew a month in advance that Obama won,
hence the great importance of M$M telling the truth.
