1. I'm guessing none of the networks will carry the whole thing --
it's streaming on cnn.com and obama's site, too.

15. If only Russert had held out until November
The Powers that Be could have postponed the election until Christmas week.

Study: Voters Increasingly Turning to Web

by Chloe Albanesius

Can top presidential candidates afford to be computer illiterate? Not anymore, according to a Sunday study from the Pew Internet & American Life Project.

Approximately 46 percent of Americans have used the Internet, e-mail or cell phone text messaging to get information about the 2008 elections, share their opinions, and to influence others, and the Obama campaign is taking the lead in online political activism, according to the report.

In particular, voters have gravitated toward online video, social networking sites, and online donations more than ever before, the study said.

Of the 2,251 adults polled by Princeton Survey Research Associates International between in April and May, about 35 percent said they watched Web videos of the candidates, which is triple the number of those who reported doing the same during the 2004 elections. Ten percent are using social networking sites like Facebook or MySpace, with half of those under 30 using the sites to get and share information about their candidate of choice...

7. Now a word from our Sponsers...
-ominous music- "We here at Capitol Life believe that Tim Russert would have endorsed our GOLD PLAN Life insurance Policy. For times when Life ends unexpectantly...your family will have the lifestyle they are accustomed too...and at an very reasonable rate."

-Happy Music- video of children rolling on green grass with puppies. Giggling and laughing, puppy tongues lapping.

"Capitol Life, Tim Russert would have wanted it that way."

8. Cabal News.............
cabal |kəˈbäl; -ˈbal|
noun
a secret political clique or faction

But it is not a secret now with the internet.
Almost half of America is getting their news now from the internet.

9. The pattern is clear: Obama will not be televised
He is an electrifying speaker with great telepresence and they know it. The cut-off to the circle jerk of talking heads trained in the T.R School of (im)Balanced Journo will be the norm.

Lucky we have us the YouTubes.

16. Tim Russert would not be happy...
...with any of this overcoverage, especially with his own network.
I wish he was here to put a boot up their asses over at MSNBC.

On the bright side, he lived just barely long enough to see Barack Obama win the nomination.
To have died before the primaries were over, pure hell.
